Below are the 8th grade graduation speeches from Lindsay and Greta. Lindsay was chosen by the faculty to talk and Greta was chosen by the students. Sarah Murphy introduced them. All three of these girls are in our Phinney Ridge car pool! We’re extremely proud of the girls, their poise, ability to speak in front of several hundred people in an auditorium and young women they have become. Enjoy.
Pictures from Lindsay’s Costa Rica Trip
Greetings,
Lindsay had an amazing adventure with her class to Costa Rica. She’s working on a blog post for that, but I wanted to get some of her pictures up for you to see.
Lindsay is in Costa Rica!
Lindsay is currently enjoying sun, food, spanish, dancing and community service in Costa Rica with the 8th grade spanish class from Seattle Girls School. The link below has more picture and notes on what’s going on. We miss her so much!
Lindsay’s Peaceful Protest Video!
Hey! I was doing a project about peaceful protest as extra credit for school. I went to green lake with Ivy, Kendra, Lucia, and Mom. We filmed as many people as we could lip syncing and dancing to “where is the love?”. This is what we came up with. Enjoy!
Lindsay’s 7th Grade Video Documentary Project – Scandinavians in Ballard
Lindsay’s culmination project for 2nd quarter at SGS was to work in a team and create a video documentary of an culture in our city. Lindsay’s group chose the Scandinavian heritage of Ballard. The team was completely responsible for finding the interviewees, setting up the interviews, asking the questions, filming, editing, producing and presenting to the rest of the class and their parents. Well done Lindsay and team!
