Fresh News on the Fasser Family of Seattle, Washington
Ola!
It’s Wednesday and we’re headed to the Grand Canyon today. We’ve had a blast in the foothills of Tucson spending time with Mike and Shirley. The kids love the pool, we’ve had great Mexican food, we hiked Pima Canyon, visited the Colossal Caves south of Tucson and had a chance to visit downtown. We have several stops planned for today before getting to the hotel – primarily Montezuma’s Castle and the town of Senora.
Michelle spent a relaxing, energizing and restful weekend at Sun Mountain Lodge at an all women’s ski and yoga retreat. She learned a ton about cross country skiing (we’ve been doing it wrong for years!) and spend some great time with our friend Libbey who was teaching the ski lessons. Brad Lenz and I took some videos of us and the kids zip lining in the jungles of Salulita. My first time posting some YouTube uploaded videos, but check it out and enjoy.
The Fasser Family had a great time in Puerto Vallarta over spring break. Technically we were in Nuevo Vallarta which is about 20 minutes North of PV towards Buceria and Salulita. Nuevo Vallarta is a new hotel development region with a great beach and within walking distance to Buceria which is a small town, fishing village with some great restaurants.
Some highlights of the trip included:
– Great weather (a little windy in the afternoon)
– Swimming with the Dolphins
– Nice infinity pool at our hotel
– Walking out of the hotel right on to the beach
– The Lenz’s coming down and hanging with us
– Spending a night in Puerto Vallarta with Brenda and Verner O’Quin (I used to work with Brenda)
– Visiting Ylapas and snorkeling
– Spending some wonderful evenings in Bucerias eating and shopping
– Spending a day in Salulita surfing, sunning and eating
– Going zip lining with Brad, Avery and Lindsay

We spent a great weekend with Ralph & Andrea Murray, John & Bronwyn Gerberding and Greg & Lisa Latimer at the Murray’s new cabin in Leavenworth. We didn’t have any snow yet at the end of November, but we had lots of kids, lots of food, lots of beverage and lots of fun! We loved the barn and the big play room for the kids upstairs.
